Its awesome that you recognize your body's limitations to manage

discomfort on its own. My mother would suffer through 2 days of migraines

because she didn't want to take anything for it.

Luckily, I am med free for the most part, but I do have neck and back

injuries from my youth that are troubling. I find myself waiting until I

can't take another moment before taking Ibuprofen, but it sooooo helps, and

sooo worth it at the time.

I know what I was talking about was the fact that my

mom would take one pill for something that would

slightly raise her blood pressure and then she'd have

to take something else for that..etc. I do realize

that if diet and exercise don't take care od the

problem, then pharmaceuticals is the way to go. I am

a firm believer in vaccines.

It's a bummer, isn't it. They make these medications with no thought to

side effects. My husband and I always shake our heads during the

commercials because the list of side effects FAR surpasses that of the

actual illness the medication is treating.

I saw an ad last night for some sleep aid and one of the side effects

was drowziness. It sounded like a Stephen Wright joke lol.

Peace,
