Panko Bread crumbs Stacee

Yes, I love panko. Now this is designed to use when

you make Japanese tempura. I don't seaon them. I dip

the finished food in tempura sauce. You can season

them but it's not likely the seasoning with stay on

the crumbs since they are coarse.

You can put the panko in a paper or plastic bag with spices like

cayenne, garlic powder, salt, pepper, etc. and just use milk, egg,

whatever you normally do and put the veggies in the bag and shake.

Viola! Seasoned panko breading! I like really crispy crunchy coating

so I flour them first, then dip in beaten egg/milk mixture, then the

panko. Try firm tofu this way with Tempura sauce or Ponzu Sauce, kind

of a citrus soy sauce.
