Guest guest Posted October 14, 2006 Report Share Posted October 14, 2006 TEMPURA BATTER 3/4 c. flour 1/4 c. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. soda Sift together. Stir in 1 cup cold water and 1 egg yolk. Beat egg white until smooth and frothy and stir into batter. Dust squash, yam slices, cauliflower, etc. to deep fry, in flour.
