Anybody use a juicer? Is there a warning?

Love the juicer, carrot juice, just thinking of it makes my insides

crave. WATCHOUT for putting in all/too many of those greens you love

to eat. Juicing them can make for... shall we say frequent... um...

loose... I'm not going to say any more;...(I'm new here!)

No dishwasher, crookpot underused. My newest gadget less than a week

and inspired by this fantastic group is my Fagor 6qt Pressure Cooker.

So far have just boiled water for pasta but today got some acorn and

spagetti squash and three big beets. (I eyed the turnips, but figured

I would start out slowly) I tried to find a " trivet " at the dollar

store, and grocery store and tool store, and with all that shopping

came home forgetting that I didn't find one. I live in a town that is

closed up on Sunday, so I will have rig something for my veggies

tomorrow.

I'm really happy to have found this group. Thanks all.

If you can't find a trivet, use a small bowl upside down in the

pressure cooker, anything that won't melt, bend or dissolve, just to

lift up the inside bowl or dish the food is in above the boiling

water so you are steaming, not boiling the food...just make sure it

won't tip over.
