Guest guest Posted October 14, 2006 Report Share Posted October 14, 2006 Whole Wheat Cran-Apple Bread 4 cups whole wheat flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon cloves 1 teaspoon ginger 1 tablespoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 cup soy milk 1 1/4 cup applesauce 1/4 cup honey 8 ounces cranberries (thawed if frozen) 3 tart apples, diced Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan (8x4 or 9x5-inch) with nonstick cooking spray. Combine first seven ingredients and mix well. Combine the remaining ingredients, mix well and add to the dry mixture. Stir just until combined and pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50 or 60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Makes 12 servings. Calories 223, Fat 1 gram, Cholesterol trace, Sodium 177 mg, Carbohydrate 51 grams, Protein 6 grams, Fiber 7 grams. Points 4. Now you can have a huge leap forward in email: get the new Mail.
