Guest guest
Most often than not, rennet (sometimes listed as " enzymes " ) is from animal source. It is the digestive juices from the stomach lining of a cow. There is also vegetable source, microbial source, and genetically engineered. more about cheese, if you are interested: http://www.vegsoc.org/info/cheese.html And a list of " vegetarian cheeses " : http://cheese.joyousliving.com/ This site states that Trader Joe's posts a list onsite; and I know that they did, at one time...but I was unable to find it this morning. May be overlooking it, though. I was going to post that link, but found this one in lieu of it.
