In fact, I have quite a few cobwebs that I just leave so I don't disturb the spiders (depending on their size...the big ones are always relocated). LOL An even better trick for catching them is to put a cup on top of them and slide a piece of paper (great use for junk mail) between the spider and the cup. I live in the country and we get an occasional mouse that I have to try to wrestle away from the cats. I've found that plastic cooking tongs reserved for just this purpose work great. Guest guest
Sharon this is such good news about your daughter. I have many friends that rescue animals and yet are not vegetarians, they separate the two for some reason. I have a vegan girlfiend and she can't stand animals, has never had a pet and yet she is a vegan that wears no leather, makes sure there isn't a drop of dairy or egg in her food, etc. I don't understand that either. I guess this is what makes the world go round. I still can't listen all the way through " Imagine " by John Lennon without tears. This flower child went to see Platoon with her Viet Nam vet husband and I cried so hard I had to leave the theater. I'm sensitive to many things also. I started fast food nation and it' wasn't for me, it upset me too much. Donna I know a lot of fancy dancers, People who can glide you on a floor, They move so smooth but have no answers. When you ask whyd you come here for? I dont know why? Im looking for a hard headed woman, One who will make me feel so good, And if I find my hard headed woman, I know my life will be as it should -- yes, yes, yes. Guest guest
Yes, it really is interesting. Both my kids love animals and my meat-eating kid is almost an animal whisperer, she has such a strong connection with animals. But she sure likes to eat meat. My younger one (the mostly vegetarian) hates hates hates bugs and spiders, but she absolutely freaks out if anyone kills a spider or an ant. She hates them, but she wants them to live. I think the only exception to that is mosquitos and fleas - she doesn't mind if those die. If she sees a spider, stuck in the tub for example, she grabs me my " spider catchers " , which are two small tupperware child cups. I have gotten quite expert at catching the spider and holding with the two cups held " mouth to mouth " and then releasing it in the shrubberies outside. :-) Sharon Donnalilacflower wrote: > Sharon this is such good news about your daughter. >
