But I *can* tell you that if it is overcooked, even by a few minutes, it can get a very fishy taste, even if it was fresh. I would assume that it would have a fishier (is that even a word? lol) smell as well. There was a time when I *did* cook fish at home, and I always bought frozen, because when you think in terms of it shipping and setting out in a sales case, frozen is actually fresher than non-frozen. hope this helps.
