Guest guest Posted October 9, 2006 Report Share Posted October 9, 2006 Oatmeal 1/2 cup instant oatmeal 3/4 cup non-fat milk add any of the following and microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes: quartered banana slices (garnish with pecans after heating) sliced strawberries (garnish with chopped walnuts after heating) quartered kiwi slices (garnish with chopped walnuts after heating) raisins with a dash of cinnamon For speed in the morning, chop/slice your fruit in advance and freeze in cubes and place in a freezer bag. One cube is just the right amount of fruit. My favorite, one kiwi/strawberry cube, garnished with walnuts. This is also a great use for imperfect fruit. Bruises and dents don't show after being chopped and frozen.
