Guest guest
Thanks Donna-- Sounds interesting! More work than the black bean one, though, eh?? Actually, though, it was the " potato chip cookies " that I was most interested in the recipe for. Do you have that? I made a potato thing (for lack of a better word, at the moment) when I was a teenager (OMG so many years ago) it was based on an item in Laurel's Kitchen (My Fav book, been draggin' it around with me for 24+ years). I didn't have half of the items, and did *quite* a bit of substituting (lol). They were to be a savory appetizer type thing. My brother snitched one as he walked though the kitchen, and said " Great cookies! " I remember looking at him quite puzzled, and thinking how could he think they are cookies! it's potato!! So, your " potato chip cookies " has brought that memory up, and made me smile today. And I am awfully interested in that recipe!
