Guest guest Posted October 5, 2006 Report Share Posted October 5, 2006 Linguine with Sweet Onions and Olives 1 9 ounce package linguine 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 pound onions, thinly sliced 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 1/3 cup sliced ripe olives Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion, cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add sugar; cook an additional 20 minutes, or until tender and golden brown. Add olives. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Makes 4 servings.
