Guest guest
If you find one at a garage sale, thrift store or your granny gives you her old one, PLEASE check the gasket. Take it out and examine the rubber gasket for any cuts, nicks, cracking, anything that might mean it needs replacing. The gasket is the only part that needs to be replaced when it gets worn, and they are super easy to find online, at hardware stores, etc. I check when I wash the pot lid each time I use it. Just never use a damaged gasket, it can split and cause a messy leak and steam loss, and you can get hurt playing with live steam. Guest guest
Also make sure that the weight that goes on top is included. They are very expensive to replace. And make sure it fits the cooker you are purchasing.
