Guest guest
My Karma has called me to a spiritual journey with a dear friend on his mountain ranch. As you can imagine this is a huge change for me. I have lived in the mountains for many years but never on a ranch. Life is so very different on a cattle ranch. I am having the learning experience of my life and trying to keep an open mind. The cattle, horses,Elk, deer all graze contenedly in the grass pastures but first hand I am seeing what real life is when it comes to raising animals. As my friend says " it is hard to tell who is the teacher and who is the student " and I agree. I made veggie-grain 'burgers'for him and he thought they were wonderful. Bragged to all his friends. My first lesson is how to handle a pack of coyotes who are trying to kill and eat the new Blue Heeler Pup. Hobo the adult Heeler cannot protect the little rolly-polly,8 wk.old curious pup. I am asking all of you, each in your own way to either send prayers or good thoughts, peace and harmony my way. Deanna in Colorado
