Guest guest Posted December 23, 2006 Report Share Posted December 23, 2006 Apple Cheddar Cookies 1/2 cup margarine (softened) 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1-1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1-1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1-1/2 cups peeled chopped apples 1/4 cup chopped nuts In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy; stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Stir in cheese, apples and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
