Yes, I reckon we're all on the same wavelength with regard

to the pies. I know they *can* do it, as I've seen it on

The Food Network. ;) However, with so many other good

options, why risk it? Quick breads are a good idea too.

Thanks, all! Brownies, fudge, cookies, and/or breads are

what I'm making for my non-local loved ones! :)

p.s. - I didn't have a vegan banana cream pie recipe

in mind, but I was up for the " challenge, " even if I had

to use the baby food trick I read in one of the groups.
