Guest guest Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 My non vegetarian husband has made this for dinner a couple of times, and he doesn't make any meat for him and our son to go with it. Ingrediants: 1 large can of Tostada Sauce 1 can refried beans 1 can corn 1 can black beans 1 small can sliced black olives 1 large can diced tomatoes 1 large bag of shredded cheddar cheese 24 six inch corn tortillas Other items needed: 1 mixing bowl 1 mixing spoon 1 large rectangular baking pan Process: 1. In rectangular pan lay out 6 tortillas covering the bottom of the pan in a 3x2 pattern 2. Cover the tortillas in a light covering of Tostada Sauce 3. Mix the refried beans and a little of the tostada sauce in the mixing bowl 4. Spread it out evenly on tortillas 5. Cover refried beans with a light layer of cheese 6. Lay out another 6 tortillas on top of the cheese 7. Again spread some tostada sauce on the tortillas 8. In mixing bowl mix up the black beans and corn with a little tostada sauce 9. Spread it out evenly on tortillas 10. Cover mixture with a light layer of cheese 11. Lay out another 6 tortillas on top of the cheese 12. Again spread some tostada sauce on the tortillas 13. In mixing bowl mix up the black olives with the diced tomatoes with a little tostada sauce 14. Spread it out evenly on tortillas 15. Cover mixture with a light layer of cheese 16. Lay out another 6 tortillas on top of the cheese 17. Cover top with a light layer of tostada sauce and cheese 18. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour ______________________ Check out the new AOL.
