Guest guest
Liz, How well does your Presto microwave popper work? And where did you get it? My family loves popcorn and we have been using microwave popcorn in bags. I have been reading so many bad things about them lately....the bags creating carcinogens and the butter flavoring causing lung disease (and even death) in the factory workers. I don't want to use them anymore. TIA, Susie stinky_harriet wrote: > Microwave popcorn. Not the stuff that comes in > bags, > but plain popcorn. Guest guest
Susie, I got mine through Amazon. It is made of plastic and I've also read about how bad it is to microwave plastic. There's a special cardboard insert that fits in the bottom of the bowl, but it's reusable. I read somewhere, on some message board, that you can just use a plain brown paper lunch bag in the microwave. I don't know how much popcorn you'd put in or how well it works. I keep forgetting to buy paper bags and I really want to try that. -- Liz --- " artichoke72x " <artichoke72x wrote: > Liz, > How well does your Presto microwave popper work? > And > where did you get it? > My family loves popcorn and we have been using > microwave popcorn in bags.
