Guest guest Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 Candied Sweet Potatoes 6 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 " slices 1-1/2 cups packed light brown sugar 1-1/2 cups water 1/4 tsp. salt Lay prepared potatoes in an iron skillet or shallow casserole dish and add the remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 350° F., for 40 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for about 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Serves: 6.
