Guest guest
Dear Christie, I am blessed by you I got up and double checked and sure enough, my water bottle is marked " 2 Litre " . I finished two of this bottle everyday at work from 7:30am to 4pm. I always come home with almost two empty bottles at 4pm. Then at home, I go through another half a bottle, same 2-Litre bottle. That means I consumed 5 Litre a day. I don't feel ill. Mind you, I don't normally consume this much during the winter months though. But now, I feel thirsty all the time. This wet weather is really getting to me now. I haven't seen enough sunshine since the weekend gone I am grateful for the British and US pints information I am sure many of us are not aware of the difference and are grateful for this information. Best Wishes, Wee On Behalf Of christie_0131 Wednesday, August 23, 2006 9:12 PM Re: How big of a glass of water - Gary Hi Wee I'm not sure that you have that right. You need to take account of the fact that US and British pints are not the same size - a US pint is only 16 fl oz, whereas a Brtitish one is 20 fl oz. This would mean that the standard UK half pint glass is actually 10 fl oz whilst a US one would be 8. I am staggered by the amount of water you have consumed - I'm lucky if I can manage 1 litre :-( Christie
Guest guest
I have to drink 128 ounces (american, that's like 16 glasses) a day of water due to a pregnancy complication. Plain old flat water. I've always been a big water drinker but after 4 months of 128 ounces a day it gets old!!!! I've done lemon in it, water in it, a tad of vinegar in it (ewww, I never did like that but apparently some ppl do..it did help the GERD though), even those yucky artifical everything drink mixes. Blecky and BORING. Two more months to go...
