Crispy Cornbread Tip

I just made some Crispy Cornbread, by pouring my Cornbread batter into my

Electric Waffle Iron that I had sprayed with Smart Balance Pan Spray. Just

use your favorite Cornbread recipe. You come up with some really pretty

shapes this way. My Electric Waffle Iron has 5 hearts that join together,

but can be cut apart when serving.

 

One of my favorite recipes is just simply putting some Corn Meal Mix in a

cereal bowl and add enough water to it to make to a cake like batter.

Sometimes I add diced onion.

 

Tonight I was just thinking I didn't want to wait for a pan of cornbread to

bake or fry it in a pan on the stove into patties, so this idea popped into

my head and it works great. .I love Crispy Cornbread and this does the

trick very quickly.
