I'm still digging into the

flower section of my cookbook.

Floating Roses

These are so elegant when floating in a punch bowl or pitcher of iced tea,

glass of water or lemonade. Use organic rose petals. Rinse under water and pat

dry. Fill ice cube trays 1/2 full with water and freeze. Place a rose petal on

each cube, cover with another full teaspoon of water and freeze again. Fill

cubes completely with water and freeze. Remove from trays and serve with your

favorite beverage.

These sound so pretty! I will have to make some

just for my iced tea or to add to a gin & tonic.

My rose bushes are almost always in bloom.

Some of them are more like rose trees now.

Thanks for the great idea, Donna. :)
