Guest guest
Oven Rice Pilaf with Cheese 2 Tbsp. butter 1 cup uncooked rice 1 Tbsp. cooking oil 2 cups veg. broth pinch crushed pepper flakes 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat butter and oil: add garlic, pepper flakes with a little salt, and the rice. Sauté until rice begins to slightly turn golden. Pour into a baking dish; add broth; cover and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from the oven; add cheese; stir until cheese has melted and is mixed well with the rice. Top with sliced olives, chopped chives or whatever you desire. Stay in the know. Pulse on the new .com. Check it out.
Guest guest
This sounds good, Hip. I have never added red pepper flakes to my rice pilaf before; bet that gives it a nice spicy flavor.
