Guest guest
Don't ya think that much of the world's problems (then and now) are about greed? I've been reading a little about how towns rose up all over the place because that's where trains stopped for various and sundry reasons. Guess what, the trains changed, cars arrived, towns died or were left with bed and breakfasts and an antique store. I'm not saying it is good but things change. Honestly I'm more concerned about people killing each other in the Middle East at the moment. (and I'm sure everyone agrees 100% on how things should be solved over there . . . . or not ;<) ) Hm, then I start thinking about the towns that rose up around forts and how they grew for various reasons, including fur trading, buffalo hunting, and other wonderful reasons. Guest guest
Yes but also extremism related to religion, race, philosophies, culture, etc. Another cause is changing technology. Of course, all of these can be manipulated by those who are greedy.
