I prefer to think of it as National Let the Catfish LIVE month!

And for the filet mignon ~ how about having August 18 be

a day for making our favorite tofu-steaks? *lol*

 

Like last month they had hotdog day, and I just thought of

it as veggiedog day... so we vegetarians can easily work

around the food holiday lists and make them work for us.

Makes you wonder who sits around and thinks these lists

up, doesn't it? I think they are fun, but I have always wondered

about their origins.
