Guest guest
Donna, This is for you. Judy Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk Here is a recipe I have found very useful. I used it at Christmas time in several recipes in the place of canned sweetened condensed milk and it worked great! 1 cup instant nonfat milk 1/3 cup boiling water 3 Tbsp. melted margerine 2/3 cup sugar pinch of salt Put in blender and process till smooth. (I add water first). I also made up several batches to use over a few days and it did well in the fridge.
Guest guest
Thanks Judy, I could probably deal with this version, it was that thing where the milk didn't pour out of the can that freaked me out.
