The recipe did call for 6 eggs, but we find we like it better with 4 eggs. Donna and PT please make this change when you post it to the Files >Just made these for lunch. Yummmmmm. Mushroom -Nut Patties Source: Very Innovative Parties Cookbook Yield 20-25 patties 1 c. Cottage Cheese 1 c. Cracker Crumbs( 1 cylinder of Saltine crackers crushed. 1/2 c. Walnuts or Pecans, chopped 1 Onion, chopped 1 c. Mushrooms, sliced 6 Eggs 1/4 t. Sage 1/4 t. Salt 2 pkgs. of George Washington Golden Seasoning and Broth Oil Mix all the ingredients together except the oil. Pour oil just until the bottom of the frying pan is covered and Heat the oil over Med. High heat. Drop in spoonfuls of batter in the hot oil and flatten the patties with the back of your spoon.
