Guest guest
Sounds like you might have acid reflux disease or GERDS (think that is how it is spelled). Have you always had stomach problems or did problems arrise out of dieting? Lots of people experience stomach discomforts from acidic foods or some grains. If grains give you a problem, you might be allergic...try buckwheat, quinoa, or brown rice for grains. Mary Anne ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: Hello Maly and warm welcome to the group. I'm majoring in accounting at the University of Puerto Rico and I'm 19 year old. Right now I'm under a vegetarian treatment, thats why I joined the group. I dont know if there is another name for my 'diet' but besides being vegetarian, I can't eat anything acid like oranges, pineapples, tomatoes.... or things like beans, yeast, oatmeal, corn and many others... so it's quite difficult for me to find food and recepies that contains only what I can eat. I'm running out of ideas and I've only been in this treatment by 2 months, I'm beginning my third month so that's the time I am vegetarian. Even more difficult is that I'm the only vegetarian in my house (it includes 'temptations' like the pizza they eat, lasagna...etc), furthermore, I cook my own food. I would appreciate if any of you knows a little about this give me some ideas or advices and if someone have been in a treatment like this before I'd love to hear about > his experience. > > Sincerely, > Maly > > > > > Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail Beta. > >
Guest guest
Thanks a lot to all those who had given me their advices and tips. But, I've seen there are some that mention diseases... Well, so you can have a better idea, I got in the treatment because of an acne problem and unbalanced hormones. The type of acne, according to a demathologist, required a treatment of 6 months taking a pill that would cost in total more than $3,000. I would have payed it, if it was for my health but the pill would generate side effects such as high cholesterol level, muscles pain and others. I was not going to put myself in that possition being only 19 year old, knowing all those side effects would require other medicines that would affect other parts of my body. That's why I decided to have a second opinion and chose the natural method. Right now I'm visiting a doctor dedicated to natural methods and he is who put me in this diet, plus take the suplements he prescribed for me and other directions. He said that I have to clean the body from inside and suggested this type of diet. Plus, my unbalanced hormones are the Progesterone (its level is low) and the 'Prolactina' (i dont know its term in english) which its level is too high. Also, the diet helps the 'prolactina' to go to its normal level. I hope you guys have a better idea of my treatment. Thanks a lot for everything!! Guest guest
I say kudos on dealing with health issues (and acne is a health issue IMO) naturally through diet. I have found that even simple diet changes have changed our life for the better! meg
