Guest guest
Here is a re-post of a refreshing summer beverage I love. I like it better without the mint. Last time I added sliced oranges to each glass instead. Victorian Iced Tea 4 individual tea bags 4 cups boiling water 1 can (11.5oz) frozen cranberry-raspberry juice concentrate, thawed 4 cups cold water Ice cubes and fresh mint Place tea bags in a teapot; add boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Refrigerate tea in a covered container. Just before serving, combine cranberry-raspberry concentrate and cold water in a 2 1/2 quart pitcher; stir in tea. Serve on ice. Garnish with sprigs of mint. Yield: 10 one-cup servings ~ PT ~ I don't want to live. I want to love first, and live incidentally. ~ Zelda Fitzgerald
Guest guest
That does sound good. Any green tea suggestions or recipes out there? Guest guest
Personally I love real green tea served ice cold! Sometimes with a bit of peach nectar or mint! Oh, another summer drink I love...non-alcoholic mint julep! meg On 7/18/06, subprong <subprong wrote: > > That does sound good. Guest guest
Wow! Thanks so much for this recipe. I'm a big tea fan. I've been collecting tea pots and tea cups for about 60 years. All the girls in my family enjoy having tea parties with me. They always get to select their favorite tea cups, from the display cabinets, to drink their tea. I even have a special box full of porcelain mini teas sets for them to play with. Each tea set has it's own little matching serving tray. Each tea cup is so small that it fits onto the tip of a 2 year olds fingers. The baby's love to put cups on all of their finger tips. I collected my neighbors mail while they went to Montana on vacation...they brought me a tin of Huckleberry Tea as a thank you gift. I'm excited to try these two new teas. Thanks again. Guest guest
All of my neighbors are so nice. We all raised our children together, and have live here for years. Now we are all empty nesters and we take care of each others yards, mail, watering and security systems when anyone of us is gone on a trip or in the hospital. I feel very fortunate to be living in such a wonderful community. Joanie
Guest guest
I love those cute mini tea party sets. My mom has a few and loves to collect them. Your tea parties sound wonderful. That was so nice of you to collect the mail for your neighbor and equally kind of them to give you such a thoughtful gift. If everyone tried to be so helpful to their neighbors each day we could have world peace in no time! ~ PT ~ To the question whether I am a pessimist or an optimist, I answer that my knowledge is pessimistic, but my willing and hoping are optimistic. ~ Albert Schweitzer, philosopher, physician, musician, Nobel laureate (1875-1965) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , grow514 wrote: > > Wow!
