Guest guest Posted July 14, 2006 Report Share Posted July 14, 2006 Chive Butter, Breadsticks, and Radishes 1/3 cup unsalted butter or butter, softened 2 TB snipped chives (with blossoms, if desired) 8 to 10 bread sticks or one 12 oz. baguette 1 bunch (12 oz.) radishes with tops, trimmed and root tips removed 1/4 cup sea salt or kosher salt 1. In a bowl combine butter and chives. Halve bread sticks or cut baguette in half crosswise, then cut halves lengthwise to make 8 to 10 bread sticks. 2. Spread butter mixture on cut sides of bread sticks. Serve bread with radishes and salt for dipping. Makes 8 to 10 servings. Nutrition Information: Per serving = calories 233, total fat 10 g, sat fat 5 g, monounsaturated fat 3 g, polyunsaturated fat 1 g, cholesterol 21 mg, sodium 961 mg, carbohydrate 31 g, total sugar 1 g, fiber 2 g, protein 5 g, vitamin C 10%, calcium 6%, iron 9%.
