What a small world. One of my close friends lived in Dunkirk, NY and

I was raised in Ripley. We used to drive to Dunkirk/Fredonia to shop

occasionally. I don't know much about Cheektowaga(sp?). I have

definitely heard of it. I know we have a lot of Indian names for

towns out here(NY) You are right it is beautiful here in the fall and

spring but watch out for those darn lake effect snow storms. At least

we (Erie) don't get hit as hard as some of those NY towns (Syracuse

and Buffalo). The corn isn't quite ready yet but will be real soon.

I know I can't wait for the farm markets to open with all the fresh

fruit and veggies. I'm bummed though because our strawberries are

gone now. Way too short of a season.

LOL! How cool.

A lot of good wines and farm produce

stands... just a beautiful region. :)

The setting sun will always set me

to rights--or if a sparrow comes before my window I take

part in its existence and pick about the gravel.
