Guest guest Posted June 25, 2006 Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 Marinated Tomatoes ~~~Dressing~~~ Whisk in a large measuring cup: 3 TB chopped fresh parsley leaves 1 TB sugar 1-1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1-1/2 tsp. seasoned salt (i.e., Lawry's or McCormick) 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 3/4 tsp. dried thyme 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil OR vegetable oil 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 2 to 3 green onions, chopped Pour Dressing into a large resealable plastic bag. Add to the Dressing in the bag: 4 to 6 large tomatoes, each cut into 6 wedges Seal bag and marinate at room temperature for up to 2 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
