Back when the body was able I used to mispronounce words in spanish for one of

my students ( I was a teachers aide ) the student was non - verbal, severely

retarded, but understood english, spanish and sign. correct pronunciation got a

smile and yes head nod - mispronunciation got major giggles and head shake no.

of course i went for the giggles!!

another student , another school, aphasia (speech problem) student, other kids

laughing when she said my name Ahn he la instead of An gel a - I complimented

her (very loudly) on how perfect her pronunciation was and how my name is so

much prettier in spanish. and oooooooooooooh if you saw how her expression went

from sad mad frustration to absolute joy and pride at doing something cool

....................( the teasers were now saying wow how cool )

mispronouncing can be a good thing LOL

such happy memories, had to share, glad this came up -((((((smile)))))

Peace,

Angela

who I am is fine, it's just this body that's disabled!

middle age = that time of life when we realize yesterday's sex, drugs and rock

and roll are todays memories, prescriptions and golden oldies!
