Guest guest
Yes, I do. The recipe is in our files here, probably under the breakfast folder, but here it is re-posted: Meuseli Oatmeal Mix 4 cups quick-oats 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1-1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg 3/4 cup dried fruits: apple pieces, raisins, dried currants, dried blueberries, whatever.... Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir with a wire whisk until evenly distributed. Pour into a 5 cup container with a tight-fitting lid. Label and date contents. Use within 6 months. Makes about 5 cups of this mix. To fix a dish of warm mueseli I will take 1/2 cup mix in a bowl and stir in enough water or soy milk to make it a bit runny (sorry no exact measurements but I suspect it is close to 1/2 cup). Then, I place the dish in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute. Bring it out and stir. Add a dollop of butter, yogurt, more flavored soy milk, or fresh berries and enjoy. ~ PT ~ There's little wisdom, owner of the sap-laden tree, to watch the growth of your frail apples, yet to be careless of your own soul. ~ anon. Well I have resisted buying it in the past, so haven't checked before. I just always thought it was powdered sugar added to the outside, so was avoiding buying it for that reason. I decided to give it a try and bought some the other day. Big mistake. > Judy
