Guest guest
I thought you might find this interesting. Do you know how to tell a male eggplant apart from a female eggplant? Here it is. The female eggplant has a round tan spot on the bottom of the eggplant. It will have very few seeds and is sometimes has a bitter taste. The male eggplant has a tan line on the bottom of the eggplant. It will have lots more seeds than the female and will be more enjoyable to taste, IMHO I always look for the males ones. I love the seeds in it. Just think of the male and female human anatomy to remember this little tidbit of info. Just thought you might want to know!!! Enjoy, Judy
Guest guest
I never knew you were an eggplant sexist, Judy! *lol* I never knew there was a difference, but often wondered why some eggplants are bitter and some are not and don't require pre-salting rinses, so this is very good to know. Thanks. And doesn't just figure the females of this veggie are more complex to deal with and moody [bitter], just like some of us gals can be? *lol* ~ PT ~ The man who's drunk water knows if it's cool or warm. ~ Zen saying ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > I thought you might find this interesting.
