I thought you might find this interesting. Do you know how to tell a male

eggplant apart from a female eggplant? Here it is.

The female eggplant has a round tan spot on the bottom of the eggplant. It

will have very few seeds and is sometimes has a bitter taste.

The male eggplant has a tan line on the bottom of the eggplant. It will

have lots more seeds than the female and will be more enjoyable to taste,

IMHO

I always look for the males ones. I love the seeds in it. Just think of

the male and female human anatomy to remember this little tidbit of info.

Just thought you might want to know!!!

Enjoy,

Judy

I never knew you were an eggplant sexist, Judy! *lol*

I never knew there was a difference, but often

wondered why some eggplants are bitter and

some are not and don't require pre-salting rinses,

so this is very good to know. Thanks.

And doesn't just figure the females of this veggie

are more complex to deal with and moody [bitter],

just like some of us gals can be? *lol*
