Guest guest
Hi Christie :-) Stuff it with any kind of beans as long as the colour of the beans stand out and look appetizing and nice :-) If you like it spicy, add a bit of Curry Powder and Chilli. I like it with Olive Oil. Salt and Pepper to taste. If I can't be bothered, being a very busy day. I just sprinkle a few drops of Encona Sauce and forgrt the Curry Powder and Chilli. Just a thought...,lol :-) Phew!...it is so hot here (i.e. near Heathrow Airport). I reckon it was about 29°C here today. What's it like up North? Best Wishes to you in Scotland. Do you think one could use couscous or quinoa instead? (Of course they wouldn't be orzo stuffed peppers anymore...) It would be nice to find a different stuffing for peppers other than rice. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion, Wee. For those that do not know, Encona sauce is a West Indian hot pepper sauce. We are a bit cooler up here. I reckon it was probably about 25°C today, which is still way too hot for me. I live in an old damp tenement with very high ceilings so it's nice and cool inside :-) Christie , " Wee K Chew " <techiewee wrote: > > Hi Christie :-) > > Stuff it with any kind of beans as long as the colour of the beans stand out > and look appetizing and nice :-) > If you like it spicy, add a bit of Curry Powder and Chilli. > > I like it with Olive Oil. > Salt and Pepper to taste. > If I can't be bothered, being a very busy day. > I just sprinkle a few drops of Encona Sauce and forgrt the Curry Powder and > Chilli. > > Just a thought...,lol :-) > > Phew!...it is so hot here (i.e. near Heathrow Airport). > I reckon it was about 29°C here today. > What's it like up North? > > > Best Wishes to you in Scotland. > Wee
