Guest guest Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 Italian White Bean Hummus 2 cups canned white beans, rinsed and drained 1/4 cup tahini 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced 1 tsp. cumin powder Dash cayenne pepper 2 oz. extra virgin olive oil 4 TB plain yogurt Warm water Combine beans, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and cayenne in the food processor. Pluse and gradually add oil, yogurt and warm water until the mixture has a creamy consistency. Refrigerate overnight for the best flavor.
