Berry Galette

 

Prep Time: 40 mins

Serves: 4

 

 

 

Ingredients

1 Giant Eagle ready-to-bake rolled pie crust

1 Tablespoon Giant Eagle honey

1 Teaspoon Giant Eagle sugar

1 Tablespoon Giant Eagle sugar

1 Tablespoon Giant Eagle butter

1/2 Cup raspberries

1/2 Cup blueberries

1/2 Cup strawberries

Giant Eagle cooking spray

Giant Eagle ice cream (optional)

 

Recipe Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and position rack in lower third of

oven. Unroll pie dough on a baking sheet lightly sprayed with cooking spray.

Spread mixed berries over dough, leaving a 3 inch border. Sprinkle 1 tbsp.

of sugar over berries and drizzle with honey. Cut butter into slivers and

scatter on fruit. Fold dough up over the filling, allowing it to pleat as

you work your way around the tart. The dough will not cover the filling.

Brush the edge of the crust lightly with water, sprinkle with remaining tsp.

of sugar and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Let

cool 20 minutes and serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
