Guest guest
Okay, I might be able to find it at Costco since we have one of those out here. Thanks for the idea. The chipotle in adobo that I have found comes whole. You pick one out and mince it up to add to chili or stews or zippy sauces, and some recipes recommend adding some adobo sauce for extra flavor. For me a little of this stuff goes a long way, too. ~ PT ~ The mind has exactly the same power as the hands; not merely to grasp the world, but to change it. ~ Colin Wilson ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > You can find that seasoning at Sam's Club. It comes in the large spice containers. I imagine Costo probably carries them too, if you have one near you. I hear they carry very similiar items. We also use that Tone Southwestern Chipotle Seasoning on Fresh potaotes that I have cut up into large chunks(I like to rinse them after I cut them, to reduce the starch). Inside a large Ziplock Bag, I put in my Fresh Potatoe Chunks, a little cooking oil and some of this seasoning. I close the bag and mix it well. Then I pour it onto a sprayed Jelly Roll Pan and bake at 425 about 30 min. Check for tenderness and crispyness. You'll love this seasoning. A little goes a long ways. > > I'll have to look for that smoky Paprika. Sounds good. > > I haven't bought the Chipotle Peppers in a can before, but I will have to try them. Do they come whole or sliced?

I've not tried that before. Thanks for your suggestions of trying those peppers.
