Guest guest
I just remembered something important about diet I read in Herman Aihara's book Acid and Akaline ...He (chemist and grandfather of the microbiotic diet ) claimed that it was the combination of foods that was important. That the body processed foods along with other foods and together caused a total reaction...like in the case of cancer he said that the combination of eating meat along with sugar in the diet turned the body acid which bred cancers, and yet countries that ate alot of sugar but no meat (and he cited India) had relatively few or no cases of cancers at that time... and I hope I remembered this exactly... I think studies often overlook this point which is so critical in really figuring out what is healthy. In other words potatoes MIGHT be bad for certain ppl who eat certain foods along with them...when the real culprit is hidden and the poor potato is the one getting the " }{eat " .... ....just dunno, but I cannot believe that any study about diabetes would recommend eating chocolate over a baked potato. s}{eesh! Thanks again , grow514 wrote: > > Love Potatoes? Here's Alarming News... > > Oh no! That delicious spud may be bad for blood. > Savor that chocolate.
