Guest guest
This is an easy summer salad you can add anything to; sprouts, spinach, asparagus, artichokes or some other greens, it's all good! Lemon Vinaigrette on Greens 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup olive oil 3 green onions, finely chopped 1 Tbs. minced fresh parsley 2 cloves garlic minced fine 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. ground mustard 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper (or just a pinch) 4 cups torn romaine lettuce (or your choice of lettuce) In a jar with a tight fitting lid combine the first ten ingredients; shake well to combine. Place lettuce in salad bowl. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings ~ PT ~ If I ache, it's because we are apart and yet that can't be because you are inside and a part of me, so we really aren't apart at all. Yet I ache but wouldn't be without the ache, because that would mean being without you and that I can't be because I love you. ~ Ronald Reagan (1911-2004), in a 1963 letter to his wife
