Guest guest
My Mom used to make this for us when I was growing up. I'm not a coffee drinker now but it was fun being included in the morning weekend coffee crowd at home growing up. It's healthy too. Kids Pretend Coffee 3/4 cup boiled hot water 1 heaping tablespoon of molasses 1/4 cup milk, or rice or soy milk Put water in mug, stir in milasses until dissolved and add milk. Stir and serve. Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail Beta.
Guest guest
How cute! I love this idea and I'd probably enjoy drinking this " brew " myself! Molasses is rich in iron and so yummy. ~ PT ~ Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment. ~ Benjamin Franklin ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , Fiona <mermaidfingers wrote: > > My Mom used to make this for us when I was growing up. > I'm not a coffee drinker now but it was fun being included in > the morning weekend coffee crowd at home growing up. > It's healthy too. > > Kids Pretend Coffee > > 3/4 cup boiled hot water > 1 heaping tablespoon of molasses > 1/4 cup milk, or rice or soy milk > > Put water in mug, stir in milasses until dissolved and add > milk. Er, the really dark/blackstrap molasses is anyway. Not sure the lighter stuff is, and even the blackstrap varies considerably, I think... :-
