this sound. Judy

Thank you! I have a den across the street from me and

another down the road but have never heard them.

Almost sound like a cross between a big cat and a crow

LOL!

lettuce?

A very healthy green. It is delicious steamed or

sauteed with a little olive oil. You can add onion

and/or garlic if you like those. My son brought home a

girl friend who worked in a restaurant and couldn' t

believe we actually ate it. She thought it was a

garnish. LOL! It is best in the early spring or in

fall, especially after frost hits it. I keep it in my

garden all winter (MD) and go out in the snow and pick

it.

I think those are the people who voted. I think, if

the statement on the site which said that meat prices

are going down due to lower sales is true, it will,

unfortunately, mean people will go back to eating meat

- especially since vegetable and fruit prices are

going up.

Thanks Diana, I appreciate the info. What does " MD " stand for? Maryland?

Probably true. I'd even bet that lower prices during a mad cow occurrence

would increase meat consumption. Yikes.
