Guest guest
Everything you just said is so true. Thanks for being a sweetie and posting that. One trick i do that helps me keep it all together in my head when reading online is to imagine each one of you postng with a big smile on your faces with the best of intentions. Some of us are vegan, some of us are vegetarians, and some of us are not either one but enjoy veg recipes and discussions. Nobody was trying to say their way of being was how everyone needs to be... everyone was just simply sharing what they think is good for them alone. There is no room for guilt or feeling bad here about the beautiful path we are currently on. We are here as group of people to encourage each one on along it, and that is all. It is ALL good, and the recipes shared are awesome! namaste [can you tell i'm a hippy? *lol*] ~ PT ~ Each particle of matter is an immensity; each leaf a world; each insect an inexplicable compendium. ~ John Lavater ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Samantha Lea " <saml wrote: One of the problems with written messages (emails or notes) is that > you don't " hear " the tone of the message. Guest guest
Samantha, those are great points. I've also learned that sometimes one's mood can alter the way one interprets what is in print. If we are in a bad mood then perhaps we may tend to read things with a bit harsher tone or interpret the point differently. I don't know how many times I've seen people in forums take offense to something, leave the group and then re-join soon after. They'll usually cool off and admit that they were having a bad day or read something differently then it was intended, because they were in a bad mood to begin with. I think we've all gone through that. No biggie. I'm wayyy far from perfect but I try to give others the benefit of the doubt. Even if I don't agree I usually will show some tolerance since we all have our own different opinions and beliefs. How scary it would be if we didn't!
