Guest guest
i know what you mean about the smell. One apartment we lived in on Oahu was right near a kimchee factory. They would make their batches up on Thursdays, so we would have to keep the windows shut! Definitely tastes way better than it smells. It tastes sort of tart, very garlicky and just so good; hard to describe but i gave it my best shot. You just go out and buy a jar or order it as a side in an Asian restaurant. For me it was an acquired taste ~ didn't take me long though. Two scoop rice, one scoop macaroni salad, and side of kimchee were my prefered sides on my Hawaiian plate lunch special. Broke da mouth! ~ pt ~ " But I have learned a lot from trees: sometimes about the weather, sometimes about animals, sometimes about the Great Spirit.
