Guest guest Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 This is my Grams' recipe and it is the best. Just the smell of it baking in the oven can take me back in time a good 30 years ~ eek! Rhubarb Snack Cake 1 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 1/3 cup milk 2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1/4 tsp. allspice 1/4 tsp. salt 2 cups chopped rhubarb Cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in eggs and milk. Stir in the dry ingredients. Fold in the chopped rhubarb. Spread in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle the top with a dusting of cinnamon and sugar.
