Last time i took these to a party they were the first plate that was empty. Cheese Crisps 1 cup margarine, softened 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 cups (8oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese 3 cups crisp rice cereal In a mixing bowl, cream the margarine until fluffy. Slowly mix in the flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir in cheese and cereal. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes or until slightly browned. Serve warm or cold. Yield: 3 dozen ~ pt ~ Be kind and tender to the Frog, And do not call him names, As " Slimy skin, " or " Polly-wog, " Or likewise " Ugly James, " Or " Gap-a-grin, " or " Toad-gone-wrong, " Or " Bill Bandy-knees " : The Frog is justly sensitive To epithets like these.
