Guest guest
Let me see...you sent this the 21st and today is what? The 28th? I know that it is Friday and that is good enough for me! I have mastered the Garlic Twister and highly recommend it too. I have gotten others to buy it now, even a lady at the kitchen store bought it based on my telling them what you all said about it. It is the first garlic gadget that has ever worked, and trust me, I have spent a butt load of money on garlic gadgets. I have learned to flattened the little cloves with the underside (decorative side) of the Twister to get the skin off. Yesterday I did a ton of garlic for the foods I was making ahead and wow it saved me so much time and it does such a wonderful job of mincing and crushing it. However, my hands still stink. LOL And for all of you, especially Shawn and Amy, my daughter has hired Guido to find you all. I love salt like you Shawn. But have developed a real intolerance to it and swell up like the proverbial toad when I use it. I use that non-chicken base for a lot of stuff and am having to phase it out too. That is a hard product to let go of as it makes wonderful base for soups and is so easy. I use different seaweed products, like kombu, that I spin in the blender and use in soups which adds flavor and also a thicker base, but I think it is also high sodium. Hence the garlic. I use a ton of pepper. I use Vegit which is pretty tasty. As long as I avoid any processed foods it is easier. I like licking the salt off pretzels but not the pretzels so much. Fritos are good for licking too. LOL I can't do the salt substitutes as they make my tongue swell up. Gorgeous thing to have happen...must be the potassium? linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Guest guest
I've never tried your Garlic Twister but I'm guessing that this is where my Swiss garlic press comes into its own as you just put the whole garlic clove in and squeeze it, the garlic is finely minced and the peel is left in the press. It is easy to remove the whole skin using a sharp knife and your hands don't come into contact with the garlic at all. It really is the most extraordinary thing.
