Guest guest
Today is National Blueberry Pie Day! One of my all-time favorite pies to eat, even though i can say i have never baked one myself from scratch before. i do just love, love, love blueberries in quick breads, desserts, tarts, and in cereals. Lately i have noticed dried blueberries [like dried cranberries and dried currents] becoming more available in markets, making it much easier to stir them into cookies and homemade granola/meuseli mixes.... it is wonderful. i have heard they are so healthful, and there was this one man that chatted me up in the store a while back that told me they aid people with night vision; not sure if this is true or not ~ anyone know? So in honor of the day, let's share some our favorite blueberry recipes! Anyone have a foolproof pie recipe that is a family favorite? ~ pt ~ The hardest job kids face today is learning good manners without seeing any. ~ Fred Astaire
Guest guest
I thought night vision was the bilberry. Maybe it's related though? , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > Today is National Blueberry Pie Day!
