Guest guest
Hi! My name is Mary, and I'm 25, single, and have one cat named Tom. :-) I'm currently in transition to becoming a lacto-vegetarian (rarely eating eggs...I need to look into an egg substitute), but still need to purchase books to ensure I'm getting all my nutrients now that I'm not eating meat any more. I've made this decision because I do not enjoy the taste of meat at all any more, and have discovered that it really seems to have no flavor unless you add spice or marinade to it! Why not eat/drink the spice or marinade? On top of that, the daily news about the state of the country's livestock also turns my stomach a bit. So here I am! Look forward to chatting with everyone and learning more about vegetarianism, and sharing recipes. Thanks for having me! --Mary
Guest guest
hi mary, welcome to the group. it's pretty easy to get the nutrients you need if you eat a wide variety of veggies, fruits, legumes, and grains. be sure to check out our files section where there are tons of tried and true recipes: /files and if you have any questions, ask away. there are so many friendly and knowledgable people here. hope you enjoy it here. susie --- elektraviolet25 <elektraviolet25 wrote: > Hi!
