SB 250 The Pet Responsibility Act will be voted on in the Assembly Committee on Business and Professions THIS TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 2009. Last Chance for Animals (LCA) urges everyone to take action and ensure the passage of this historic bill!

 

California spends over $250 million dollars per year, housing and euthanizing homeless dogs and cats. California's shelters are overpopulated and are facing huge budget cuts. The enormous number of homeless pets is a moral and ethical crisis. SB 250 will help to reduce pet overpopulation by offering incentives for people to spay/neuter their pets.
